About Fractly

Two marketers. One mission. And a genuine belief that there has to be a better way.

Who Are Fractly

Our Story

We’re Kathryn and Kirsty, the founders of Fractly. We met at Robert Gordon University, studying an MSc in Digital Marketing. A shared classroom became a friendship, and years of freelancing side by side became Fractly.

We’re two disabled, neurodivergent female entrepreneurs who bonded over chronic illness and a frustration with an industry that needed to change. Between us, we bring over 24 years of combined marketing experience. When we couldn’t find a seat at the table, we built our own.

We believed there had to be a better option. A place where businesses can tap into the right skills at the right time, without the overheads of a full agency. And where freelancers aren’t left to figure it all out alone, but have the support and structure they need to do their best work.

Are you a freelancer?

Freelancing can be brilliant. But it can also be isolating, unpredictable, and exhausting, especially when you’re managing everything alone. Fractly is a different kind of setup. You get to do the work you’re best at, with the backing of a real team, fair pay, and the kind of support that actually makes a difference.

No one should have to choose between making a living and having a life. That’s the belief behind everything we do, and it applies to our freelancers just as much as our clients.

If you’d like to be part of a supportive network and work on projects that fit around your life, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Ethos

The Living Way

We believe no one should have to choose between making a living and having a life. That’s the belief we call the Living Way, and it shapes everything about how Fractly works, for our clients and for the freelancers in our network.

For our freelancers, it means weekly pay regardless of when clients pay, clear briefs with no scope creep, genuinely flexible working, holiday cover arranged so people can actually switch off, and communication that adapts to the person, not the other way around.

For our clients, it means a team that actually shows up. Consistent quality, someone to call when something goes wrong, cover arranged if a specialist is away, and a partner who tells you honestly what you need rather than selling you more than that. Marketing support that fits around your business, not the other way around.

We’re developing the Living Way into a formal accreditation. Not a tick-box. A real change to how the industry thinks about work.
